Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30 (multi)
This game is ****ing amazing.
Incredible gameplay, awesome squad control, everything is top notch.
The first level starts out as an intense battle across an open field with the enemy. Tons of firing during the level, and pure chaos.
I would suggest everyone go buy, at least rent, this game. I rented it, and plan on buying it. Definitely the best WWII based game.
The only problem is...No one is online! I went on three seperate times, and on the third try, ONE person was on, but was in a room, not "Ready."
This game gets a 10/10 on singleplayer, and I'm sure a high score for online. The online is the same as Split-screen mode, and that was badass.

Yeah I really liked this game but too bad nobody is online. I played one person online and totally kicked his *** first try so he left. This game's single player is really good. There are some shot and kill issues...sort of like S2. Oh well, it is still really cool.

I own this game on Xbox, but I've only played it for the better part of a weekend back when it first came out.
I thought it was good... not "blow my socks off" awesome, but definitely above average.

I'm sure the PC and the Xbox versions are better, but how is it on the PS2?

Figured I'd post this here seeing as how it's somewhat on the same topic and I don't want to take up space starting a whole new thread.
Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood.
Scuba, if you enjoyed the first one my friend, this one will cause you to soil yourself....lol seriously.
Here's the jist.
In EIB, you assume the role of Hartsock. If you'll remember he was the first gent with the firey red hair you had by your side on a constant basis in the first one. Don't worry, all of the names you battled with return: Doyle, Garnett, Leggett, even Baker, just to name a few. The battle concept is the same, fire fighting/supression/flanking, only intensified by ten. The enemy no longer hides and waits for their impending doom. They will (and it will happen often lol) return fire and flank you. Can't tell you how many times I've went on a flanking mission with my assault team only to come under heavy, intense fire by an assault team of flanking germans. Makes for a more intense, fun gaming experience. Also the game seems to take place in more of an urban setting as compared to the open fields/hedgerows of the first. Making it through a mission earns you an accomadation and acknkowledgement of a perfect victory due to your tactical prowess. Loss of a fellow warrior will mean a victory earned in blood...if you go on to survive yourself.
I haven't advanced very far (only about four missions in) but from what I've experienced thus far, they've taken what was good about the first (great action, solid tatics play, and a movie like grittiness to the plot), and added a whole lot of sweetness to make a stellar title. If you have the time I highly suggest you at least give this a rental. If you're a collector, this title belongs in your library.

Earned in Blood is a fine game, but I tired of offline and couldn't find anyone online (at one stage I spotted 8 whole players, but the network disconnected me... too much action I think) I don't think I will bother to buy it as BF2MC is brilliant
