Funny thing about Tuesdays

the thing that i don't get is... some sites say that the game ships on the 11th, which would obviously mean that we couldnt get it till the following day. but some say that the release date is the 11th. for example gamespot.com (which is a trustworthy sorce) says that socom 3s release date is oct. 11th. the definition of release is to give out. in this case to the public. if this were right then you could actualy get the game in your hands on the 11th. ...i don't know. the other thing is... the 11th falls on a tuesday. most popular media like albums, movies and video games are released on tuesdays. well, i guess we wont know for 12 more days or so but its been driving me nuts. no, worse than that. its been driving my nuts, nuts.

Why do yall care. Most likely it WILL be in stores on Tuesday. I was a manager at a Record Town here in Myrtle Beach for awhile (was turned into an FYE) and all movies, cd's, games were recieved on monday if not earlier(depending on how big of a title it was) and was promptly put out that tuesday morning before opening(it can NOT be put out earlier than the street date because the store could be fined and if they do it too many times the company the game/cd/movie is distributed through can decide to not sale in that store which is a huge loss). Some stores may have it out at 12 midnight etc(24 hr ones) but maybe not. Even if for some reason it didn't hit shelves till wed does it really matter? Will it kill you? Can it possibly suck any worse to wait 1 more day? Some of yall kill me with your posts (sorry im just being honest...Lu is one thing..HONEST and strait to the POINT. I am not saying this to offend anyone, hurt any feelings,etc) I am just trying to understand in the mind of todays youth what the big deal is. Even when i was younger it didnt bother me if a game was delays etc, sure it sucked but thats life...IT CAN BE WORSE.

For the life of my old azz i cant figure out why 1 day matters so much when weve waited this long.
