I think the reason they did this is because, Zipper was afraid of Socom 3 being heavly populated with alot of snipers( one of the main concerns people had about gameplay). So there making the sniper work for his kills. But dont worry too much about it becasue, most likly you will be shooting at wounded guys.
\/ \/ I agree too, about a super sniper rifle, or maybe have all sniper rifles see father than others. So when someone selects an sniper rifle and they look through the scope, they can see father than an assult rifle and scope. This way people opt for a sniper rifle over a assult rifle + scope.
