Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the sliding thing you are talking about is strafing, and you can do it by either pressing L2 or R2 for left and right respectively (for sure shot config) , or pushing the left analog stick left and right. (I think its the left one) As for getting up quick when getting knocked down, I dont know of any ways to do that. And one more thing, dont post in all caps, its a good way to get in trouble with the mods around here.
