What would socom be like on Xbox????

I don't think SOCOM would have been as popular on the XBOX as it is on the PS2. I think the friends lists and messaging options probably would have been a cool thing to have in SOCOM one though. I hated having to guess where people were playing at.

Wow, all of you know nothing of xbox live( not x-box lol)
Socom would OWN on xbox, ps2 is crap. All that log on, pressing a button to talk, crapy frinds list, lag, rank up, glicthers, would be GONE. Socom 1 would be as good socom 3 will be, if it was on xbox. All becuase of, great patching/updates of xbox live, friends list, better clan support, and easy to use mic. Don't get me wrong i love socom, but i hate having to play it on ps2, with the logging on crap, the stupid mic, pressing a buttom WHILE playing just to TALK to my team

OH AND HAVING TO HAVE HDD TO PLAY NEW MAPS! You now how many NEW maps would have already come out for socom 1 and socom 2, lol to many to count for sure. All of you who say socom on xbox would suck, really have no idea what you are talking about, and have never played xbox live or have only tried it once or twice for 10 mins. For sure if you were an owner of xbox and xbox live you would know how gerat it would be to have socom on xbox. Also your account instantly gets banned from xbox live if you try to MOD your xbox and play online( some one said something about playing with mods lol) and $5 a month, really, are you that cheap to pay $5 a month for some great online gaming.

It might, maybe the same thing for GTA will happen with Socom?

The online speed and playing would be a lot smoother on xbox.

But socom is the ps2's halo. They would never let xbox have socom.

But wait, why are we still talking about socom 2. SOCOM 3 in 26 days 12 hours, 43 minutes. Woot woot. Socom 3 will be so much different and they will fix everything. It wont be liek socom 2. Socom 2 is over 2 years old. Thats why it is bad, but it still gets a lot of people playing it.

But if it was on xbox, you wouldnt need the HDD for the new maps, they would of been able to download them for a small fee then get em, like halo. But they probably wouldnt release any other maps.

But hell dude. Xbox will never get socom.

Also jon, YOU might lag on it but the servers wont. Xbox live keeps a tight **** on there game servers and will fix them right away if anything happens. Nothing usually does happen. But YOU might lag but the servers wont, which is a large contribution to the lag in socom 2 right now.

Just atleast thank god, that socom 2 isnt run on gamespy. Just imagine how bad that would be

What pisses me off is they didnt make socom 3 open mic, but i never had a problem with it, just open mic is so much easier and much more fun. Can't wait for socom 3 to blow ever other game out of the watter tho!

socom would probably be horrible on xbox. the controls would be harder
and on xbox live u can mod.

and to everyone who said u get banned right away when you mod, that not true if they catch you can get banned but i play halo 2 online and so many people use mod chips now and u never hear of someone getting banned anymore.
