I'm a wife and I was the one who actually got my husband to play the game. I think it's a great hobby to have. It can get expensive if you try to buy every system and every game you want but as long as you stay within your means, it's an inexpensive form of leisure compared to going out. You don't spend the gas goin out all the time, it's somethin you can do together in the comfort of your own home and let's face it... it's just plain fun.

My wife never complains about the game. Being married and having a kid should come first. I play every chance that I get but when my wife needs help I, I help her out. I am no genius about the female species but I have learned a thing or two in my day about them. If you keep them happy and don't make a fuss especially over a video game they will usually stay off your ***. At least mine does...

My girlfriend (soon to be wife) doesn't mind it so much that I play this game... I'm pretty much addicted to several games & since I happen to go to school for Game Art & Design, she actually minds even less that I play so many video games.

She only gets aggravated when I curse & punch the floor during bad rounds of SOCOM. Other than that, she knew what she was getting into from the first time we started dating (oh so many years ago).

(She sees it as my future job paying for all of her wants & needs... so she can deal with it, I guess.)

I too am married and have two children. I typically only play 2-3 nights a week. My family is first and foremost, but it is nice to "escape" stress by rolling out a few good rounds of Socom.

My wife realizes her place in this world....LMAO. Her Fantasy football league name is "Socom Widow"! How classic is that!

im 16, but if i DO wanna wife that plays games, cuz i luv games, and a girl that plays games is sexy to me, if she plays socom, i could bust a nut, yay for socom girl gamers, but on the real, if couples get divorced because the husband(rarely wife, im sure never) plays too much socom and all his attention is on socom, than u need help

I'm lucky just to be playen online, my wife hates that I play socom. So when I asked if I could get internet she laughed and said we are not paying 40 dollers a month so u can play a stupid game. Luckily a couple of months later she wanted a dog, so I said you can have a dog if I can have internet, she said yes. I have to small kids so I can only play when they go to bed, my son broke my headset, so I had to buy a new one, that took some convincing buy she gave in. The other night I was playing and I was having one of those days were you are doing really well, and I forgot to give the kids a bath and she came home early and I was playing she was pissed, woops, I thought she was going to throw my game out the window, now I wait until the kids are in bed.
