You can try saving everything from scratch on another memory card. I just hope you know your password to sign on with your s2 name.

I had a problem similar to this. I called my internet service provider and stayed on the phone with them while they rebooted me and tried to connect. I had tried everything else with no success but this worked.

Well I tried removing everything and placing it somewhere else, stomping on it, I even tried yelling at it. At one point I thought got it by calling it a s.o.b., and just when it was about towards the end ( DNAS report ). It slammed me with another ACCESS DENIED. So I went to Gamestop and bought Katamari damacy. LoL I love this game. Well anyway, I think Socom 2 online is dead.....in my part. I just hope this doesn't occur when Socom3 graces over my playstation. Else, im going to the elementary school near by, and punch every little kid I see. Well thanks for the help every body, it's appreciated. As for now im going to enjoy a beer.

LOL, my friend had this happen to him when he cheated on Madden Online. He was banned from any game that had DNAS period. So he called his ISP and changed his ip adress and had to reconfigure his whole network configuration.

well in all my problems my last resort was 2 delete ur setting 4 getting online and then juss making it again. all my problems hav been solved by that

did you try it with another socom disc? my ps2 sometimes had a hard time reading my old socom2 disc and alot of the time, while connecting, it gave me that same error. Change disc, and it works like a charm...
im not sure, but i tried :D
