Whats with this!?!?!?
Okay, yesterday I was playing Socom 2 online. Rampaging all over the unexpected. Then Conan 'O Brian comes on (im able switch channels on the fly). So I turned the off Playstation without logging off, and today I get a RUDE AWAKENING! I long on the server ( tried ) and as it's working it's way to the DNAS it abruptly ends. With a new window saying ACCESS DENIED. So i just restarted it, and the same crap happeneds again! WTF.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? It nearly put me in cardiac arrest.
This B0ner needs to kill!

All it said was Access Denied? Was there a 3 digit number after it?

Hmmm. Well my 1st suggestion is reset your modem and router. (If you have a router) If that doesn't work, or you've already done so, tell us the results.

Well I just logged out to check up on it again, hoping it'll go way. Well I restarted my modem. Tried connecting to the servers once again, and BAM. That ACCESS DENIED window popped up again.

This is definately a new one on me. The only other thing I can suggest is what a clanmate of mine did when his socom was acting up. Take the internet cord out of your PS2, unplug your modem and router (if owned) and leave it that way for a day. Plug everything back in tomorrow and then see if that does it.
Or look here: http://www.socom3.com/socom3/viewtopic.php?t=11038
If that doesn't work, I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I've never heard of it either. The only suggestions I would have given, were the ones that already failed. Have you tested your Network Configuration? A lot of times when i get an error, if I go test it, I get on next try. Just my advice. If nothing works, just try the *CONNECTION PROBLEMS* Sticky at the top of the page, someone else may have had this problem.

Wow, I totally miseed that you posted it, haha. Yes, check you Network Configuration, and if it turns out okay, but you can't log onto Socom, then there's probably something wrong with Socom, not you. Maybe you were banned, I don't know. Try a different game, and all that stuff, then come back here and let us know.

i never heard of this. i have heard of like connection failure and that stuff. this could be a hacker. can you get on ur regular internet fine? Is it running smoothly? is there a wide amount of popups happening latley. becuase if so, then yes its a hacker. well the popups is a spammer. the internet not so smooth is someone using your internet. and the internet not working could be you or a works of a hacker. this kinda happened to my friend. but he couldnt get passed dnas. and his internet was running slow. he even called help from the company and asked people to come over, still couldnt find out. 2 weeks later they found a hacker on his comp.
