Is there anyway to report these people? I realize they could just change their screen name but surely there's a way for the people who control the servers to track their IP and ban them. They do it on FFXI and other online PS2 games. If so, who do I need to contact?

It would be nice if socom had a feedback system, ala halo 2. It could effectivly cut down the amount of glitching.

No doubt... I've heard they're going to move over to something like this kind of "feedback system" for SOCOM 3.

good good good so we will be able to report glitching if there is any and if we can report them what kind of punishment could they be lookin at if u might know maybe a few warnings then repeat offenders get their ip addy baned maybe im jus wonder i know u prolly dont know all da details about it yet

P.S. That's awesome about banning MAC addresses. It would put such a smile on my face to have some of the people online banned permanantly. :D

I have reported cheaters already. So for those of you who say calling sony is a waste. It just depends on the person you talk too. I have talked to two different people already and they helped me alot.
1-800-345-7669 is the number that I called.
You may also leave an email at sony's site. But calling works faster because they are able to boot that person right away. So doing either one works.
But you MUST have the players name( I don't think clan matters,but it does help) And it must be word for word. And if the ALT letters are used. Describe what those letter are after you write the players name. Also you must have the time,server and room that you were in when this happened. And finally you must have details on what that player was doing. Make sure you are describe what that player does.(glitching in wall,anti,vote,skywalker,different weapon,etc.) But all of this must be in detail. This is how they are able to make a ruling and ban this persons ID. And it is not by the IP address. It is by the MAC address that never changes unless you change your ISP. So everyone pass this on and hopefully we will be able to stop this before it gets out of hand.
