Kills over Deaths for Captain

me and my cuzzin were talking about being a captain in all. he said that u needed kills over deaths to be one. i told em that i saw plenty of real captains dont have it but they still are. is this true, do u need kills over deaths to reach it. or is that a mith. alot of my firends wana know.

Oh come on, are you serious? Of course this is a myth. It's just ignorant to think that you need to have kills over deaths to become a Captain. It's all about your rounds won. The more rounds you win, the better your rank will be. Your cousin (sp?) was just trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about. I know plenty of Captains that have terrible kills to deaths ratios, but they are still a Capt.

I know erg in [S3] has 1000 DEATHS over kills and he's a Captain, this is pure myth, hence the "your cousin is an idiot".

It also who you beat in the rounds won. If your a captain and you play a bunch of ensigns your rank will still indeed drop. If your a ensign and you play a bunch of captains your rank will indeed go up. Therefore, just play people that have a better rank than you do!

KIlls over deaths mean almost nothing to your rank its how many rounds u win and how many games u win i have seen captain its 3000 kills and 9000 deaths.

I think its more of what you do in the game... Extract Hostages, Kill VIPS etc... Really... I mean I have less rounds won then lost (I play too much breach medleys). And im still a captain...

you can have fewer kills than deaths and fewer rounds won than lost and still be a captain. chances are if you have 200 hours online you are a captain.
