I can't exagerate this enough don't GET OFF THAT TRIGGER TILL U HAVE TO RELOAD OR ELSE U R DONE FOR. your only hope it to aim for the head at the highest recoil point and keep on that R1 button( or X button if u have sureshot lol). Trust me on this one guys, i know i will get alot of critisism on this, but believe me this tip works extremely well. Just like the M14( which i never use, but just to make a point...) u must master the recoil of full auto on this gun and aim for the head when your recoil shoots up or at the highest point of recoil. This works well at long range firefights too.

Awesome, thats something I've never heard before but I'm sure your right. I'm no joke with the 552SD either, but I usually fire in bursts, only full auto if I have to. What I really want to do is see if this works better long range than bursting...

Okay guys so as you can see, this is an old post that I just stickied today. The reason being that this is such an awesome tip, one of the best I've seen on this site because it's something most people don't know.
Toxic Warrior is absolutely right. With the 552SD, holding down the trigger kicks butt. I've gotten more MVPs with this gun ever since I started doing this than you can believe.
Anyway, follow Toxic Warrior's advice and hold the trigger down. This is IMO the best way, getting them at the TOP of the recoil is key. As you can see from my original response, just over a month ago I was in the same boat as all the other bursters. Since then, I've found out that he's absolutely correct, holding the trigger down is the best.
To practice, just run around with the 552SD and shoot at things. While your doing this, notice and follow closely exactly where the bullets are going and how this gun shoots. It's too hectic in the middle of a battle to really realize what's happening and it's hard to tell how much of the spray is caused by you moving the crosshairs all over and trying to burst at one exact moment, and how much is caused by the recoil itself.
This is why it's important to start off by shooting at walls and other stationary targets; so you can see exactly how it shoots, see exactly how bad the recoil really is, and see exactly how the recoil reaches a certain high point and then mostly stays there.. and then MASTER this recoil.
