Final Fantasy XI Rate It.

damn i bought this game for pc and it turned out i needed a nvidia graphics card installed and i dont have one and i had to keep the game. I was thinking about buying it for the ps2. Is it worth buying it? Are there still plenty of people playing it? you know since it came out a long time ago.

its a fun game till u relize you could be playing the new socom maps cuz u have the hdd but id give the ffxi a 2 and the hdd a 10 a ****in 10 for bringing me plenty of hours of new levels

i give it 10/10. i love the community and the things that can be accomplished with good teamwork.

its not for a "casual" or "plug and play" gamer. World of Warcraft is alot better for ppl who dont have alot of time or dont want to put alot of time into an online RPG.

dont expect a new online FF for quite awhile. They're getting ready to release a new expansion for the current one. and yes a ton of people still play it. 2500 hours later i'm still playin ;P

I also give it 0/10, I played one of the older ones and that was enough for me, I hate myth and magic crap. I prefer much more realistic games, like Mario Kart Joke. Buy yea, Final Fantasy is crappy and I wish they would make it the FINAL Fantasy so people get lifes.

These people have never even played it, so don't listen to them. I had it for a long time, and most days I chose Socom over it. I would rate it 4/10. My brother is an addict, and it seems to me like it's more work than fun. My friend is addicted to WoW, and he's always doing something cool, whenever my brother is playing he is selling stuff or getting money. The quests suck, some missions are cool, the story is pretty bad and doesn't go along with itself.
