Some of my problems with the game are: I'm not a huge fan of games were you have to follow a set path. It does give away some of the movie.
Overall probably 7 - 7.5.

I agree... from what I have played of the game so far, it is definitely above average. It's a tad bit like the Lord of The Rings games that EA did, where it's more or less following a set storyline... mixed in with alot of battling (like a Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, or Double Dragon type). You also have the ability to "level up" your characters as you perform big combos during the battles between levels of the game.
My younger brother owns it on PS2, and while I was over at his house we battled in the versus mode of the game... and I must admit that it was kinda cool engaging in some lightsaber dueling. He told me that as you advance through the game, you unlock characters (and arenas) for that matter during normal gameplay. Not only that, but you unlock alternate storylines through the use of other characters from the movie as you advance through the game. (Same goes for movies, concept art, etc.)
I am a
huge fan of the series, and I thought it was nostalgia at its finest when I beat my younger bro (me playing as Episode 4's Obi-Wan Kenobi) in the versus mode (he was Darth Vader), on the Death Star's hangar bay from the first Star Wars movie back in the 1970's.
I only differ with the other guy's rating... I would go as high as an eight (out of 10) for the review of this game. And this after playing the game on both the PS2 and Xbox...
